ALDERIC "Tommy" Sacchetti, 83, a retired firefighter in the North Providence Fire Department, died Dec 10, 2007.

He served in the Army during WWII.  He was a member of the North Providence Fire Department for decades, and was one of the first 10 men appointed to the permanent Fire Department in 1971.
