OTTAVIANO, THOMAS E.

75, of North Providence, RI passed away suddenly on September 10, 2021. He was the husband of Cynthia A. (Zambarano) Ottaviano; dearly loved father of Dana M. Davenport and her husband Jay, of Gainesville, FL and Gina M. Clement and her husband Robert, of Smithfield, RI and cherished grandfather of Michael R. Clement and Haley N. Clement. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenico and Amelia Ottaviano.

Tom worked for the State of RI for 35 years placing foster children before retiring as a supervisor in 2004. Tom's dedication to firefighting began as a junior fireman for the Lymansville Fire Department where he eventually became Captain and then Captain on the North Providence call system. He was a member of the Centredale volunteer fire station, Woonasquatucket Valley Fire League and volunteer for the Fireman's Memorial Committee. Tom was an outdoorsman who had a passion for hunting, fishing, gardening and was an avid hockey fan.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 17, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at Tucker-Quinn Funeral Chapel, 643 Putnam Avenue, Greenville. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10am at St. Thomas Church, 65 Fruit Hill Avenue, Providence. Graveside burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
