Obituary of Kevin J. O'Brien

 Kevin J. O’Brien, age 72, passed away March 24, 2022. He was a beloved son of the late John W. and Dorothy L. (Dufault) O’Brien; loving brother of Robert M. O’Brien and his wife Millie (Ricci) and the late Neil E. O’Brien; cherished uncle of Sean O’Brien and his fiancé Jennifer Lane and Jennifer O’Brien; and great-uncle of Aidan and Emily O’Brien.

Kevin worked for many years at the Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket, RI. He enjoyed spending time at the Geneva Fire Department as an honorary member. His favorite pastime was playing cards at the North Providence Mancini Center. Kevin was known as a friend’s friend by many and was loved by all that were fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation will be held Monday 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the Pontarelli-Marino Home, 971 Branch Ave, Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in the St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave, Providence. Burial in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org
