Dennis C. Bazzle, 50, of Sawin Avenue, died Monday at home.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Julian C. and Alma V. (Haines) Bazzle. He was a lifelong resident of North Providence.
Dennis served as a lieutenant in the North Providence Fire Department, retiring in 1991. He was a member of the Centredale Volunteer Fire Department and the Athletic Association of the North Providence Fire Department. He was an avid Red Sox and Philadelphia Eagles fan.
He leaves two sisters, Marilyn Gurskey and Patricia Osiensky, both of North Providence and several nieces and nephews. He was brother of the late Ellen Giannini and Jack Bazzle.
His funeral service will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. in the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Calling hours Wednesday 4-8 p.m. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
