In Memory Of Alfred C. Conte, former Geneva call and volunteer FF

 

 

Alfred C. Conte                Alfred C. "Al" Conte,70, passed away Saturday at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the husband of Janice M. Conte, they had been married for 44 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Dr. Alfred C. and Mary Conte. Al was a lineman for Verizon for 35 years before retiring. He was a Call-Captain for the North Providence Fire Department and a life member of the Geneva Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and shooting sporting clays. Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Lisa M. DeLuca and her husband Frank and Cheryl A. Boudreau and her husband Charles both of North Smithfield and five grandchildren, Gianna, Gabriella and Frank DeLuca and Brianna and Brandon Boudreau. He was the brother of the late Anne Conte.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Augustine Church, 639 Mt. Pleasant Ave., Providence. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
