IEMMA,
ALEXANDER D., 83, of North Kingstown, passed away February 25th at his
home surrounded by his loving family.He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Rita (Alarie) Iemma; one daughter, Carol (Iemma) Harrington; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Born in North Providence, he was the son of the late Antonio and Agatha (Palumbo) Iemma.
Mr. Iemma worked for the North Providence School Department before retiring. He was a 25 year Gold Badge volunteer for the North Providence Fire Department and was President of the Allendale Manor Association. He was an avid Yankee Fan.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, March 10th at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 381 School Street, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the American Heart Association will be appreciated. Arrangements with Fagan-Quinn Funeral Home.
